TrackSmart™ Redefining Hemodialysis Vascular Access
Stratos’ first product TrackSmart™ is a Class II vascular access medical device that will revolutionise hemodialysis vascular access by replacing the current, outdated method involving use of painful and damaging dialysis needles. TrackSmart™ will enable repeat access to an arteriovenous fistula (AVF) without pain, blood vessel damage and hassle. The device was conceived by vascular surgeon Dr. Henry for Niekerk who grew frustrated at the unbelievably archaic method of AVF dialysis vascular access and the damaging effects of constant needle puncture damage to the AVF blood vessel.
